After graduating from college in California, Femion continued his studies at Western New England College School of Law and School of Business. In May of 2006, Femion received his Juris Doctor degree and a Master of Business Administration degree. He was the first student in the school's history to complete the requirements for both graduate degrees in just two and a half years. Femion also earned a Master of Law degree, or LLM, in banking and finance from Boston University School of Law. Femion has gained admission to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of New York, and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
After a short stint as a litigation attorney, Femion joined Buyers Brokers Only, LLC in May 2009. Within the first couple of years with the company, Femion became a top producer. His approach of not selling his clients on a particular property but, instead, helping them make educated decisions has resulted in a growing customer base, including repeat clients and an extensive network of referrals. My partner and I were first-time home buyers, in one of the toughest buyer markets in years, and we had the most amazing experience with Femion Mezini and also Mike Lord on his team. Femion and/or Mike accompanied us on every single home visit, and gave us honest assessments of their value. They were clearly not trying to up-sell us since one of the most expensive homes we visited (and one we liked a lot at first glance) Femion said was going to be a money-sink, and had clearly been quick-flipped and was overpriced. We ended up getting the first home we put a bid on, and Femion successfully negotiated a deal at $15k below the listing price. When the mortgage lender assessed the house, it was assessed at $10k more than we paid, getting us some instant equity.
